"ruthless complication" is a processual poem written by improvising a homeophonic translation of an english source text and associating, again improvisationally, with and against the resulting (emerging) text. it is a variety of writing against itself, against explicit semantic content, towards a potential set of associational readings in which interpretations emerge and aggregate as non-linear and quasi-intentional clusters. i used an online conversion program to render the written text as spoken word." - Jim
"i created music from my internal responses to the poetry. im using different kind of instruments like serunai (malays traditional instruments), handmade xylophone, tabla, accordion and chinese cymbals. i try to connect the words and sound texture through various expression on improvising and spontaneous playing." - Kamal
